!Spring in to April Contest! with Concrete Minerals *CLOSED*

*CLOSED* Spring is here ladies and so is the fresh new Etsy based cosmetic company Concrete Minerals! In my honest opinion there is no time like the present for another contest/giveaway! The contest is easy:

1. ) Become a fan of Concrete Minerals on the Facebook fan page here: FANPAGE! and tell her Makeup Zombie sent you!

2.) List 3 of her eyeshadow that you think would be terrific for Spring. And HOW you'd use them on your eyes. You can either post your entry here (the blog) or on the Makeup Zombie fan page under the discussions tab here: CLICK ME!

Extra entries (if you really wanna):

1.) Make a purchase from CM here: CONCRETE MINERALS ON ETSY!

2.) Post a picture of yourself on the Concrete Mineral FANPAGE! with your favorite CM shadow on your eyes. :)

The contest runs from today Saturday March 20th, 2010 to Saturday April 3rd, 2010. That's 2 whole weeks to get your entries in.

One lucky winner will be chosen by Emily from CM and announced Sunday April 4th! You will get to choose 3 Concrete Mineral eyeshadow of your choice!! (Colors below.) Emily will personally ship them to you.

Good luck gorgeous Zombies!!

  2. Spring makeup is all about COLOR to me!! I look forward to brightening up my look with Daydream all over from lid to browbone, sweeping Zealous on the lid only, and blending Temptress into the crease. I know the contest calls for only three shadows, but I wouldn't be able to resist applying Souljourner as a wet liner on the top and bottom!

  7. I love greens for spring so I'd use juveinle over my intire lid with swamped in the outer "V" and smoked up an out into the crease with detox as a highlight/brow highlight :)

  8. Spring is all about colour, or I hope it is. I'm still waiting for it so to make myself feel that it actually is spring despite walking in slush I'd use Juvenile on inner V and half of the inner lid (also half of the inner lower lashline) blending it with Napalm towards the outer lid and then using Swamped on outer V and crease with half of the outer lower lashline.

  9. Here's the deal. I'm already a fan, but I commented that you sent me and that I <3 her stuffs. I posted a picture of myself with the Sexy Tart collection on Friday. And...if I could get some more stuffs, I would definitely go for Croma and Kismet - I think they're pretty and feminine...perfect for Spring. Chroma all over the lid and Kismet in the outer corner and wet as liner.

  11. I'm a fan of them on FB (Jerry Dazzlepants)

Since everything starts to heat up in Spring, I'd do a look inspired by Poseidon, because we can't wait till it's warm enough to get to the beach :) so I would use Detox, Zealous and Bang Up.

I'd use Detox on the inner 1/3 of the lid, inner corner, and inner 1/3 of the lower lashline.

Then I'd use Zealous on the remaining 2/3 of the lid, the centre of the lower lashline, and I'd sweep it into the crease.

Then I'd darken the crease and outer corner with Bang Up and apply it along the outer 1/3 of the lower lashline.
