Hard Candy "Visibly Wet" lip crayon REVIEW!

TGIF Zombies!

Hope you all had a nice week. I've been recuperating all week from my crazy, quick, trip to California. I *think* I'm back mentally.

I wanted to do a quick review on the new Hard Candy "Visibly Wet" Shockingly Glossy lip pencil. I have the color "Jezebel" to show you today.

First off...I am not sure how I feel about the name including "Visibly Wet" in the title. Maybe I have a dirty mind, but it just seems a bit weird to me. That aside, this lip crayon really does look glossy and "wet" when applied.

This lip pencil reminds me of Milani's Lip Flash pencils, though it's MUCH more flashy and FULL of  fuchsia sparkles. This pencil is also very 'slick' and comes off quite easily once applied. I didn't notice it ever fully "drying" which because of the name must be a good thing. Full of pigmentation, I think this pencil would make a good night time color. Trust me, it's SUPER DUPER in your face and a lot of fun!

Jezebel, along with a few other colors can be found at your local Wal-Mart or purchased from the Wal-Mart website for around $4.50 to $5.00.

Have you tried any of the new colored Visibly Wet pencils? What are your thoughts?

* The product above was provided for consideration from Hard Candy. Opinions are my own and honest.*

  1. This color is beautiful on you! I've been wanting to try these, but the combination of the bright colors and shine and glitter make me wonder if they'd be too over the top! However, seeing this on you I may have to run out and grab one!

  3. I have two of these. I LOVE the colors but they burn like fire on my lips which is weird because I never have a reaction to lip products. It's so distracting I can't wear them at all! :(

  5. LOL @ your comment about the name, "Visibly Wet." Maybe I have a dirty mind too >.< I do agree that the color is gorgeous, though, and the pigmentation is just out of this world! I believe I have something similar from Milani, but it's a lot more glittery than this one is. Thanks for sharing! :)

  7. The name sounds funny to me too.

It does look really good on you. I'll check them out; the Walmarts here are sold out of Hard Candy most of the time. I'll see if I have any luck.

  8. I have two of these but they bbbuurrnnn my lips. Feels like they are on fire. I've learned to dot alittle on , and that helps but really silly because you do not get the same look. :(
    I love the colors though.

  9. Yowza that color's vibrant. Thanks for posting this. I don't mind li products that feel wet. To me that's better that having something dry and feel like a crayon on your lips.

  10. I think the color is fabulous and I'm slowly trying out more of the Hard Candy products. I first tried out their Baked Blush Crush in Honeymooner as a highlighter, and I like it, and then the Glamoflauge concealer. Maybe this will be next? But what was the wear time on it... you mentioned it doesn't really full dry, do you find yourself re-applying often?

Also, I totally found my mind in the gutter after reading the name, too!!

  15. Yeah, the name "Visibly Wet" was not particularly well thought out lol! I have this one as well as a couple of others. Do they burn your lips? I had a weird reaction to them where my lips burn when I wear them and I've heard a couple of other people say this too.
