Milani "Illuminating Face Powder" Review and Swatches!

Good evening Zombies!

I have a fun new product to show you all from Milani Cosmetics tonight which will be launching in the next few months. Milani's Illuminating Face Powder Ultra- Smooth Highlighter, Bronzer and Blush; in Amber Nectar, Beauty's Touch, and Hermosa Rose.

The very first thing I noticed about these was the lovely quilted patten on the powder. Also, and this may just be my mind playing tricks on me, the powder totally smells like roses!

Look at that gorgeous patten! (This is "Beauty's Touch".)

Each shade is really very "Illuminating" and not overly pigmented. Of course, depending on what part of the compact you focus on, you'll get more or different color pay off. I would also use varying colors for brow bone highlighting.

Each compact states on the back:

Use as a highlighter for a brighter complexion with a lit-from-within radiant glow.

Use as a bronzer or blush for an instant healthy, sunkissed finish.

Here are the 3 swatches. I used a pretty heavy hand for these swatches, using 3-4 swipes.

Below I have used each powder on my face as a blush:

As you can see, there isn't much of a *noticeable* difference between the powders, but there is a definite "glow" in real life (lol), especially if the sun hits your face just right. I think that depending on your skin tone you could get a way with owning just one of the compacts. Again, if you want more pigmentation, it's a good idea to use a heavier hand and apply more product, but if you're going for a soft "illumination" on your face or eyes this is a wonderful product!

I'm excited to experiment with these powders and come up with different ways to use them. Stay tuned for more looks!
