2012 Milani Powder Eyeshadow Palettes!

TGIF my lovely readers! It's been a great week for me and I hope the same for you. I have some pretty pretty palettes to show you all today. One in particular is just perfect for this time of year! Check them out!

Milani's Powder Eyeshadow Palettes in "Abstract" and "Impressionist".

I love the Abstract palette and I'm not a huge fan of neutrals! Each color was smooth and pigmented and easy to apply. I could easily see this being a go to palette for someone short on time because there are main colors, crease colors, and highlight colors all in one. I think the ONLY downfall to this palette is that some of the colors (such as the very top shimmery bronze) are really tiny and it's hard to get a brush into it without making a mess.

Ok, so the Impressionist palette was a little tricky in my opinion. Most of the colors are pretty chalky and take a few swipes to get any sort of color payoff. However, the purple, blue, and white are SUPER pigmented and smooth and were easy to apply in just two swipes. I did swatch these over a sticky-clear base and I think it's crucial that you use a base with this palette for color pay off. Impressionist is SO fun for this time of year...the colors remind me of Easter eggs and it's just so SPRING!

There is also the Paint Eyeshadow palette- which contains neon colors. You can see my review and swatches HERE!

Each palette retails for $7.99 (USD) depending on where you purchase them. Milani can be found at any of your major retailers such as Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens.
