Milani Powder Eyeshadow! New for 2012!

Zombies!

I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend. This evening, I have for you a new post thanks to Milani. I'd like to present you the new Milani Powder Eyeshadow single eyeshadow in 12 new colors for Spring/Summer 2012!

Per Milani:

POWDER EYESHADOW (SRP $4.49) super pigmented, easily blendable, crease-proof , silk-like powder eyeshadow. Playful colors in both matte & pearl finish that can be used as shadow or liner. Available in 12 shades. Exclusively available at select CVS stores.

I love the fact that these are packaged individually as opposed to crammed into a palette! The packaging is a bit on the bulky side, but mostly the lid. I feel there is a lot of wasted and heavy plastic- but the product itself is awesome.

The back of the package. Each eyeshadow is labeled with all this jazz on the back- i.e: name, ingredients, and weight.

Swatches Left to Right: Just Perfect, Shocking Pink, Brown Stone, White Lie, Tickled Pink, Pitch Black, Pearl, Olympian Blue, Purple Shock, Caramel Brown, French Vanilla, and Gold Dust.

The 12 colors come in Matte and Pearl shades- no glitter and very little shimmer. I did really like the matte formula though White Lie was pretty chalky. Of the mattes, Pitch Black, Brown Stone, and Shocking Pink were the best in terms of application and very little fallout from being too chalky. Word of warning, Olympian Blue stained...bad.

The pearl colors were pretty. Some of the lighter shades took 3 swipes to get much color pay off such as French Vanilla and Tickled Pink. But, Purple Shock, Just Perfect, and Caramel Brown are AMAZING! They are pigmented, almost creamy in texture, and so easy to blend. I'm in love with these three shades. Just Perfect reminds me a lot of MAC "Steamy" and Purple Shock reminds me of my coveted MUA Shade #9.

For less than $5.00 each, I believe these are a great way to add to your collection without breaking your budget. I feel there is something for everyone in this collection.
