New Milani Shadow Eyez 12 Hr Wear Eyeshadow!

Good evening Zombies!

I have some new goodies to show you from Milani! I'm SO excited about this post..seeing as how I've recently stopped using my coveted jumbo eyeshadow pencils as a base under my eyeshadow, due to creasing, these bad boys have come along at just the right time!

Per Milani:
SHADOW EYEZ 12 HR Wear Eyeshadow Pencil (SRP $5.99) big and blendable 2-in-1 color rich pencil, use as shadow or liner. Creamy smooth, long-lasting, water-resistant, crease-proof and paraben-free formula. The next generation of shadows that you sharpen. Available in 6 shades. Exclusively available at CVS.

Let's first talk about consistency! Each color is so smooth and creamy! That being said, they don't crease. After a few minutes, they become tacky to the touch but don't budge either- making the perfect canvas to apply mineral or dry eyeshadow. Once they are completely dry, they stay in place. There is no doubt that these are 12 hour wear! Personally, I like to use pencils like this as an eyeshadow base under my eyeshadow to make my colors POP! I'm excited to try these out and tell you if they crease under my shadow. Judging from the wear on my hand swatches however, I highly doubt that they will crease. If you're interested in wearing these alone or as a liner, instead of as a base, I am sure over a good primer, these won't budge..maybe ever. lol

The pigmentation is amazing! As you can see from my swatches, Royal Purple (which has blue sparks throughout, btw), Aquatic Style, and Green Safari are extremely bright and bold! Winter White, Champagne Toast, and Brown Deluxe are good for the more neutral at heart, but still so intense, bright, and pretty! Winter White takes a few more swipes than the others to become as opaque as you see here, but even with layers, it dries quickly and doesn't smudge.

Over the next couple of weeks, I will be experimenting with these pencils and will let you all know how I like them. So far, I'm really digging them!

Do you see any colors that catch your eye? I hope you're able to snag your favorites!
