Ok, so the title of this post may be a little over-dramatic. A *little*. I have the absolute worst habit of biting the skin around my nails when I get nervous, bored, stressed, happy...just in general. I've done this for most of my life and it's a hard habit to break. I've used creams, lotions, oils, and nothing seemed to ever 1. help me break the habit and 2. make my cuticles/skin look normal again.
In passing the other day my friend Megan mentioned she uses Burt's Bee's Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream on her cuticles. And let me tell you, her nails always looks awesome. So, a little voice in my head nagged me until I could snag myself a tin.
It's like Lemon Meringue Pie in a tin! It smells wonderful and goes on so creamy and feels so moisturizing. The thing I love the most is that it does not leave your nails/cuticles feeling greasy, which is the problem I've had with several similar creams.
My nails a few weeks before I started using Burt's Bees. ( You can see the skin around is dry and rough from my biting.)
This was last night, not even a week into using the cream (applying once a day at least.) Look at the difference it's made so far! (Excuse the stained nails. I rarely go without nail polish.)
I can't wait to see how my nails look in another month! I've found a holy grail in my stash! And it was less than $6.00!
Have you tried Burt's Bees cuticle cream?
