Shimmer Polish Review and SWATCHES!

Happy Tuesday Zombies!

Today, I'm excited to bring you a review on Shimmer Polish!

Shimmer Polish is an Etsy based indie nail polish company that offers a variety of glitter top coats or "bling" as I call them. I was given to opportunity to show you all a few of their combinations!

I was sent Wendy, Alice, Cristina, Strength, and Jennifer.

Pretty business card.

All lined up in a row. From L to R: Wendy, Alice, Cristina, Strength, and Jennifer: (Make sure you click images for maximum awesome!)

Macro shots! My camera didn't want to cooperate, so this is as good as it gets.

Cristina: Oooo, does this remind anyone else of Christmas?! Oh good, I'm not the only one. :P

Jennifer: This happens to be my favorite of the glitter. I love the colors of the glitter and how they go together in an odd way. Light pink, baby blue, brighter blue, orange, green, and black. It's awesome!

Strength: This one is fun! There are little hearts throughout the blue and silver glitter!

Wendy: Obviously I love this one! Not only is it a variation of my name, but there are orange, purple, and blue glitter pieces that remind me of Halloween for some reason, which is my favorite holiday and close to my birthday. WIN!

Alice: Check out the holo glitter pieces in the bottom picture! This polish is so fun! So, holographic and contains little star pieces throughout. Get this baby in the sunlight just so, and your nails really do shine!

"Jennifer" over Essie's "Miss Fancy Pants!"

"Wendy" over Maybelline "Wined and Dined" (do not waste your money on W&D! The formula was TERRIBLE!)

I adore each of these over a black base, except that the black glitter in "Jennifer" gets lost. Over white, they all look amazing as well. Hell, they are just so cool on their own! If you had to pick one of these glitter polishes, I would recommend "Jennifer". It's unique and I haven't seen a glitter like it before. (Followed closely by "Wendy." :P )

I was worried about these being really gritter on the nail, but after applying Sech Vite (or your favorite quick dry topcoat) I can barely feel them! I love hat aspect. Now if only removal was that easy! :D

Altogether now!

Full sized bottles are $12.00 from the Etsy store- which for a unique handmade glitter polish isn't bad! Shipping was fast and everything was packaged well! The polish was wrapped individually in bubble wrap as well. Shimmer "Strength" was created to raise awareness of PCOS! Donations from each bottle sold will go to charity!

Do you see anything you can't live without or have you tried Shimmer Polish and love them?
