Shiny Zoya Nails!

Happy Monday Zombies!

It's been a busy/long weekend! I was at least able to get some polish on my nails today. I'm really horrible at gradients for whatever reason (*cough* because I'm impatient) and just decided to add two sparkly Zoya colors to my nails and not really care about making them a gradient. They still shine like no one's business though!

The Goods:
Milani base coat
Zoya "Mimi" purple
Zoya "Alegra" pink
Sech Vite top coat (wow, this stuff REEKS! but seriously dries in like 30 seconds!)

Fun and bright! Love them!

Taupe and Video Game Showcase for NTMS!

The last two weeks, we had a little "showcase" or "challenge" in my Facebook group Never Too Much Sparkle! to create a look that was "Taupe" and "Video Game" themed. It was completely open to interpretation and was SO much fun seeing what everyone came up with. I've merged the two for this post.

(For the ladies who did a blog post with their look, click on their names to be directed to their blogs and see the full posts.)

Wet N Wild "24 Carrot Gold!"

It's hump day.. I love saying that!

Today I wore another bright lippie and had to share it with you. I paired Wet N Wild's "24 Carrot Gold" matte lipstick with Hard Candy's "Lust" Glossaholic lip gloss. The results were awesome! If you don't think you can pull off really bright orange lips, toning them down by blotting and adding a gloss really helps!

I absolutely adore my Wet n Wild matte lipsticks. Not only are they pigmented, they last forever!

I hope you all had a terrific day!

Evil Shades "Not Your Barbie!"

Lately, I've been wearing very little makeup, as my days are getting busier! But I have been wearing super bright and bold lips. Today I wore "Not Your Barbie" hardcore lip gloss from Evil Shades.

Seriously, it IS that bright and pretty! I love it so much!

Have you tried any of the Hardcore lippies from Evil Shades?

Oh're an EPIC Mistress!

So, I picked up a few of the new Fyrinnae shades for 2012 (so far.) Any of you that know me, know that Fyrinnae is my all time favorite indie makeup company. So, that being said, let's just jump into the goods. I swear, they never disappoint.

My I have to choose? Would be Bitey, Cuddlefish, and Blogger Beauty. I bought Knickers in a Twist for the name, no lie, but it's a pretty taupe color that reminds me a bit of MAC "Satin Taupe." Cuddlefish is more purple than the picture shows with tons of pink and blue glitter. LOVE! And BiFrost was my free sample and I'm in love with it. Such a pigmented yellow!

Also, if you haven't already, please enter my giveaway for a bottle of Zombie perfume oil from Dorian and Dahl!

Happy Friday everyone! Have a wonderful weekend!

Dorian and Dahl "Zombie" Giveaway! CLOSED

I'm pleased to announce the opening of a brand new indie fragrance company called Dorian and Dahl Perfumery. I was given the opportunity to test some of the new scents, and I must say, all of the scents I tested were lovely and unique; some spicy and bold others light and feminine. I'm a little bit sensitive to smells yet didn't seem to have an issue with any of the sample scents. I particularity liked "Zombie", because it's my namesake and I helped pick the fragrances within. The scent is amazing..not too girly but with a touch of sugar feminine; a touch of bold spice, lime, and awesome.

Floam fingers! Fun for all ages!

Yesterday in the mail, I got a fun present from a friend. She sent me "Floam" from Nail Venturous!

This nail polish is so much cooler in person than in pictures AND so much cooler on my fingers than in the bottle. By far one of the most unique nail polishes I own. This baby is hard to come by now, so snag a bottle as soon as you can!

I kept expecting to smell that weird plastic-y smell when applying this, like the real Floam smells, that's how realistic this looks!

I used 3 coats and added China Glaze Fast Forward top coat on top. I am with this nail polish!

90 Days of Beauty! Day 75! Orange-tastic!

This weeks makeup challenge in Never Too Much Sparkle is "Orange" and I decided to come up with a fun manicure. I don't have many orange eyeshadows but plenty of fun orange nail polish!

I used Spoiled's "Lox-y Lady" and Jordana's "Cooper Blaze" for the bling. I topped it off with China Glaze's Fast Foward top coat.
